Interested in helping your community get easy access to fresh, local products? You can become a Heardshare Drop Site Host! Hosting is simple, flexible, and a great way to connect with others while earning rewards.

Step 1: Choose Your Location

Most hosts use their home, workplace, or shop as their drop site.
You’ll just need a clean, accessible space for members to pick up their orders.

Step 2: Choose Your Storage Option

We can provide a cooler, or you can use your own fridge or cooler.

If using your own fridge:

  • It must be located in a garage or shop area (not inside your home).

  • Products must be stored separately from your personal items — either on a dedicated shelf or in a designated fridge.

You can always change your mind later if you’d like us to supply a cooler.

Step 3: Send Us Some Info

When you’re ready to host, we’ll ask for:

  • A photo of your pickup area

  • Any important details visitors should know (e.g., parking, directions)

  • Whether you have dogs or other notes that help us inform your members

  • Your preferred pickup time frame

Note: Hosts must be available for product pickup on both the designated delivery day and the following day.

Host Responsibilities

  • Only handle customers assigned to your drop site through Heardshare (no outside pickups).

  • Maintain a clean, accessible pickup area.

  • Contact us immediately if you ever feel uncomfortable with a member — we’ll move them to another site.

  • If you decide to stop hosting, just let us know and we’ll close your drop site for future deliveries.

Member Information & Privacy

For safety and privacy reasons, we only share the name and phone number of members using your site.
We do not share social media or personal information.

You are not required to communicate directly with members — we handle all official communication.
However, if you’d like to message members about pickup logistics (like reminders or directions), that’s up to you.

Managing Empty Jars

You can decide how you’d like to collect empty jars:

  • Have members place them back in the cooler, or

  • Use a small rack or box near your pickup area

Our team will collect empty jars before we drop off new products.

Missed Pickups

If a member doesn’t pick up their product during their assigned time, the next day it becomes forfeit — you’re welcome to keep it.
All we ask is that you return the jar at the next pickup.

Host Rewards

As a thank-you for hosting, you’ll receive $5 off your bill per active member assigned to your drop site.
